Your Wilpattu Safari adventure starts early in the morning for the best wildlife sightings. Here’s what to expect on a full-day safari:

⏰ 5:30 AM – Departure from Anuradhapura
We begin our journey with a 45-minute drive to Wilpattu National Park. The early start increases our chances of spotting elusive wildlife, especially leopards.

🌿 6:30 AM – Enter Wilpattu National Park
As we enter the park, we focus on tracking the majestic leopard, one of Wilpattu’s most famous residents. Our expert guides navigate the best routes for optimal sightings.

🦅 Mid-Morning – Explore Wilpattu’s Diverse Ecosystem
After our leopard search, we head to Wilpattu’s most scenic locations, where you’ll see a variety of birds, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and other wildlife. The park’s landscapes, with its unique villus (natural lakes), provide breathtaking views.

🍽 Lunch Break in the Wild
We pause at a picturesque spot to enjoy a delicious meal, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

🐘 Afternoon – Second Wildlife Exploration
After lunch, we continue our journey, revisiting key areas to catch any missed wildlife from the morning. This is the best time to spot elephants, sloth bears, and other hidden treasures of Wilpattu as they become more active.

🌅 4:30 – 5:00 PM – Exit the Park
After 10 hours of exploration, we make our way out of Wilpattu, filled with unforgettable memories and stunning wildlife encounters.

🚙 5:15 – 6:00 PM – Return to Anuradhapura
We drive back to the city, giving you time to relax and reflect on an incredible day in the wild.

We offer half-day (morning or evening) and full-day safaris in Wilpattu National Park. Each tour is guided by experienced professionals to maximize your wildlife sightings.

Our safari packages include park entry fees, a safari jeep, breakfast, a professional guide, and refreshments. Full-day tours also include a packed lunch.

You can text us through whatsapp, call us, or visit our office to secure your spot. Advanced booking is recommended, especially during peak seasons.

If you’re traveling alone or in a small group, you can join one of our scheduled group safaris. Simply let us know when booking, and we’ll arrange for you to share a jeep with other safari-goers.
